Simon Bangs

Simon began his career as an Environmental Scientist but in 2005 transitioned into supporting companies with the appointment of new staff in the Environmental sector. He has dedicated the last 15 years to the recruitment of Sustainability professionals and uses his deep industry knowledge to help organisations understand the talent pools in their sectors and how to attract and retain the best possible staff.
Previously the Middle East Managing Director with UK-based recruiter Allen & York, Simon is considered the leading specialist Executive Search Consultant in the sector in the Middle East, combining an excellent grasp of the dynamics and drivers behind the Green Economy and the recruitment expertise to turn this knowledge to the benefit of his clients.
Based in the UAE since 2010 Simon has been invited as a speaker / panellist at a range of conferences including the Desert Energy Leadership Summit, Emirates Green Building Council Annual Congress, Dubai Green Economy Partnership and Qatar Sustainability Leadership Conference.
